DRAUGHT PROOFING

Our standard service if your windows require no structural repair

The sashes are removed from the box frame.
The box frame and sashes have any failing or excess paint removed and are refinished in an acrylic primer.
The sashes are machined to accept draught proofing.
The box frame is re corded with traditional waxed sash cord.
The window is reasembled with new draught proofed parting bead and staff bead.

WOOD RESTORATION & GLAZING REPAIR

In addition to our basic draught proofing service we can carry out extensive wood repair to sills, frames and sashes.

Using sustainably sourced softwood and hardwood we can replace and repair most parts of your windows if required.

Cracked and damaged glazing along with failing putty can also be repaired. We can remove glass from your windows and replace using traditional techniques and materials. We are able to match most obscured glass as well as sourcing historic glass to match your windows.
